I've looked around on line, but I haven't seen recent, relevant post on the topic of saving the game causing a lockup. I've got hundreds of hours in game from 2015-16 without this problem, and my system handles the game well, no slow downs or framerate problems. n64saves in Project64, (a setting to change) or how could I convert. (correct me if Im wrong) How could I use. If you look at the saves, they should all be blank. I want to convert/use my '.n64save' files from my mac made by sixtyforce with Project64s. I could restart a new game, no mods, from scratch, but that would suck for a couple of obvious reasons. Go to the savegame folder ( C:\Users\username\Documents\my games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\SaveData ), copy your latest saves to a new folder elsewhere, delete every thing in the save folder, and start the game. I've tried turning off ALL mods, but that disrupts so much else that I don't think it's a reliable test of the game's stability. I've tried dialing down the graphics settings and turning off the hi res texture DLC. Of course, it's impossible to guess whether the mod(s) I turned off is the problem, or just that the condition that causes the crash isn't present at that point. ![]() When I do various things to troubleshoot, such as turning off mods, I have quick saved dozens of times without a freeze up. That alone means it'd take me til Christmas to figure out if a certain mod is doing it, and to make matters worse, I can't reliably duplicated the problem. I run many mods, and the problem doesn't happen at any reliable point that I can predict. But it has just bombed out with a regular save, when I'm not doing anything in game. It seems most common with a quick save or auto save, or when there's a lot going on- a lot of building has been done, in combat, that sort of thing. ![]() When re entering the game, the last attempted save is either absent or corrupted. It doesn't just CTD, it locks my whole system up, requiring a reboot. SOME of the time, when I save, the game freezes. There are others out there as well, be sure to let us know in the comments if you have a favorite emulator or console that runs particularly well in OS X.Just got back into FO4 after a year off, and this is a new problem for me. SNES Emulator for Mac OS – SNES is my favorite console of all time, and SNES9x is arguably the best emulator for Mac OS X ever. Biggest downside is that it doesn’t support full-screen mode (yet at least). Nintendo DS Emulator – Play Nintendo DS games in Mac OS X. PS2 Emulator for Mac – PCSX2 is the best PS2 emulator for Mac OS X that I’ve seen so far, it’s not perfect but it works. if your game is frozen try pressing the start button (Windows) then right click on The sims 4 application and press 'close all tabs' then click the icon again (it wont close) and there should be an option to save and exit when you open it. Here’s some of the other ones we’ve covered in the past: So i just had this problem and i know this is an older post. Using a USB or Bluetooth controller works well enough, just be sure it has enough button options and configure it in the settings to work with 64orce.ĭo you love emulators too? In case you didn’t notice, we’re pretty big fans of emulators and the older game consoles around here. SixtyForce works best with an external controller, though keyboard support is included it’s just not as a good of an experience for gaming, but you probably already guessed that. ![]() SixtyForce isn’t as full featured as some of the other emulators out there in the Windows world, but as far as I know it’s the best option for emulating the Nintendo 64 console natively in Mac OS X. As for Stitchy in Tooki Trouble, when you’re on the map screen (i.e. there and press the Download Now button to save the new game on your comp. You can save games in the SNES and NES software at any point while playing a game press ZL and ZR at the same time. I mean just going to the games save menu, and saving a game. You can download SixtyForce for free at but you’ll have to get game ROM files elsewhere. This is the most common file type for Nintendo 64 roms but a few variations. Does sixtyforce not save I dont mean the freeze-state. In one savestate we received the game was still playable (including the touchscreen still working), but every action involving wifi (which includes saving in Pokemon. the game freezes once some specific (likely wifi related) thing is requested from the ARM7. Sound good, and you’re a fan of Nintendo 64? Then check it out yourself. the time is displayed wrong (as in the screenshot), 3. The N64 Emulator I use in Mac OS X is called SixtyForce, it opens and plays N64 ROM’s quite well and allows you to run the games at full screen or in windowed mode, customize your controls to use either a keyboard or USB gamepad, and more.
